FULL-TIME DEPUTY CITY CLERK/ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

 

Seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Full-Time Deputy Municipal Clerk. Candidate must have excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, organizational and computer skills – including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Municipal experience and knowledge of the Edmunds Financial System preferred but not required. Certified Municipal Registrar (CMR) certification or willingness to obtain is required. Candidate must be dependable, self-motivated, able to multitask efficiently and maintain professionalism and confidentiality.

Duties include, but are not limited to: interacting with the Public, processing OPRA requests, processing and issuing various licenses, drafting minutes, City website maintenance, vital statistics, election duties, and performing the responsibilities of the Municipal Clerk in their absence, as well as assisting the Mayor, City Administrator and other departments as needed.
