Title: Borough of Hightstown - Mercer County


Planning/Zoning Board Secretary/Adm. Asst. to Construction.

Hightstown Borough, Mercer County.

Multiple titles, one FT position.

Requires proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong communication and customer service skills, excellent writing and organizational skills, and ability to work independently is a must. Planning/Zoning Board Secretary must attend night and/or zoom meetings, prepare meeting agendas, packets and minutes, and process applications, monitor and maintain escrow accounts; certification (or ability to obtain) and experience a plus.

Asst. to Construction/Zoning Official responsibilities include processing construction and zoning permits and depositing associated receipts, reviewing applications for completeness and accuracy, and provide clerical assistance to various Inspectors and the Fire Official. Experience with Mitchell Humphrey platform software and Notary Public beneficial, but not required.
