Title: Borough of Lindenwold - Camden County
Deputy Chief Financial Officer (Full-Time)
Borough of Lindenwold (Camden County)
The Borough of Lindenwold is seeking a full-time, experienced municipal finance professional to serve as Deputy Chief Financial Officer. This position assists the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in overseeing all financial activities within the Finance Department.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
· Processing and ensuring accuracy of payroll for all personnel
· Administering the employee health benefits program
· Enrolling employees in State pension systems and completing quarterly pension reporting
· Performing bank reconciliations and maintaining the general ledger for various accounts
· Processing payment of bills
· Supporting the CFO with other related financial and administrative duties as required
Qualifications:
· Minimum of three (3) years of experience in municipal finance preferred
· Certified Municipal Finance Officer (CMFO) certification, or currently working toward certification, required
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills
· Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
· Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail
· Experience with Edmunds GovTech Municipal Software and Primepoint payroll system preferred
· Certification as a Qualified Purchasing Agent (QPA) is a plus
Compensation: Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
