Title: Borough of Waldwick - Bergen County


CLERK TYPIST F/T – BOROUGH OF WALDWICK, under the direction of the Assistant Business Administrator, is seeking an ambitious individual with proficient skills to perform various tasks in the Borough Clerk, Borough Administrator, Public Works and Building Departments. The preferred candidate should have strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, prior experience working in a municipal government environment, and the ability to work well with all levels of elected officials, staff, residents and vendors. Excellent computer skills and proven proficiency with Microsoft Office and other related software programs is required. Knowledge working with Edmunds financial software is preferred. Duties include but are not limited to agendas and minutes, organizing and maintaining files and records; planning and scheduling meetings and appointments; providing quality customer service; providing support to Administration, Clerk and Building staff. Some attendance at Council meetings will be required. 

REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of two year’s experience in municipal government preferred.   The Borough reserves the right to interview candidates prior to the expiration of the job posting.
