CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER – Buena Vista Township, Atlantic County. Qualifications: Applicant must be a State certified CMFO. Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred. Hands-on experience in municipal fund accounting, general ledger maintenance, budget preparation, internal controls, pension, health benefit administration, payroll, grants, debt management, bank reconciliations, financial reporting and accounts payable and receivable. Proficient in computer software (Edmund’s) and excel with ability to utilize the web. Qualified purchasing agent certification a plus. Applicants should possess strong interpersonal, organizational and supervisory skills along with excellent oral and written communication skills. Must have knowledge and experience in grant applications, contract negotiations, collective bargaining, human resources, risk management, financial management, capital planning. And perform other duties with special projects as assigned.
